Patricia Geyerhahn (b.2000, São Paulo) originally from Brazil and Austria, has lived in a variety of different countries. The transitory nature of her life yielded a deep interest in the ambiguity of the world and the ways in which people identify and differentiate themselves within it. Primarily through painting, her practice aims to create unassuming and unusual spaces which viewers may engage with and interpret through their own lived experiences. Simplified natural symbols are often employed for this project, becoming personified by their conscious orientation. Geyerhahn is a graduate of The New School, NYC, holding both a BFA in Fine Arts and a BA in Philosophy.
