Lenoir's work explores the versatility of the painted image from reworked personal photographs. The landscapes or characters gradually become emblematic shapes, a poetic elsewhere as familiar as a dream, a myth, or a memory, where abstraction meets reality. Its variations on evocative forms reveal themselves without allowing us to fully anticipate the final image.
